Tomarchio<\/a><\/strong> was born in 1920 in Acireale thanks to Filippo Tomarchio<\/strong> who started the production of the first artisanal bottled drink, distributed "door to door" in wooden boxes: the gassosa con la pallina (the characteristic bottle with the glass marble). Thus taking the first steps in the territory of Acireale in the province of Catania, in the shadow of the highest volcano in Europe to expand 40 years later throughout the province of Etna and in the 1980s throughout the territory of Sicily.
